Military & Federal Resume Writing
A resume written by hand, by a veteran who ran this exact transition and reads your record instead of a template. Civilian rewrites, USAJOBS federal resumes, and LinkedIn. Five business days, one revision included.
Start with the right one
There are two ways to get a resume off this site, and the cheaper one is free. Pick honestly, because a service you didn't need is a waste of your money and my week.
The resume generator
You enter your history, it builds the resume. Best if your career path is fairly linear and you just need the military language translated. Costs nothing and takes about fifteen minutes.
USE THE FREE TOOL →PAID · 5 BUSINESS DAYSDone for you
I read your record, ask the follow-up questions a tool can't, and make the cuts. Best if you're changing fields, applying federal, working around a gap, or you've applied a lot with no callbacks.

Civilian Resume Rewrite
You're targeting private-sector roles and your resume still reads like an evaluation report.
- One-page (or two, if your history earns it) ATS-safe resume in Word and PDF
- Every bullet rewritten into civilian language with a number attached
- Keyword alignment against two real job postings you send me
- A short cover letter template you can adapt per application
- One revision round within 14 days
Federal / USAJOBS Resume
You're applying to GS roles and need the federal format, which is its own animal and much longer than a civilian resume.
- Full federal-format resume built for USAJOBS, with the detail level GS hiring actually requires
- Series and grade targeting, so you apply at the grade your record supports
- Specialized experience statements mapped to the announcement's qualifications
- Veterans' preference and eligibility documented correctly
- One revision round within 14 days

Card payment through Stripe. No account needed, and your card details never touch this site.
What actually changes
Most military resumes fail for one reason: they describe the billet instead of the result. Recruiters and HR screeners cannot score a billet.
Same job. The second version survives a six-second scan and gives an interviewer something to ask about. Getting there takes someone asking you how many people, how much equipment, and what the audit result was, which is most of what the intake thread is for.
How it works
Pick a package and check out
Card payment through Stripe. Checkout asks for your branch, your MOS, and the job title you're going after, so I can start reading before we've even spoken.
Send your record
The page right after checkout tells you exactly what to send: your current resume, or your ERB, ORB, or SMART transcript if you don't have one. Plus two job postings you actually want. That last part is what separates a resume built for you from a generic one.
I ask you the annoying questions
How many people, how much equipment, what budget, what changed because you were there. Most military resumes fail because nobody ever asked. That's one email thread, not a scheduled call.
Draft in five business days
You get Word and PDF. Word matters, because you'll want to tweak it per application and a locked PDF fights you. The clock starts when your record lands, not when you pay.
Revision round
You mark up what's wrong and I fix it. Expect that to be technical detail I got slightly off, which is normal.
Why me
I separated in September 2026 after an honorable discharge, ran my own transition start to finish, and had a remote role lined up before my terminal leave ended. I built the tools on this site because most resume advice aimed at veterans is written by people who never wore the uniform and have never read a USAJOBS announcement closely.
This is not a resume mill with a sales team. That means a real queue and a real weekly cap, and it also means the person reading your ERB is the person writing your bullets.
Questions people ask
How is this different from the free resume generator on this site?
The generator is instant, free, and you drive it. It's genuinely good, and for a lot of people it's enough. This service is a person reading your actual record, asking you follow-up questions the tool can't ask, and making judgment calls about what to cut. If your history is straightforward, use the free tool. If you're switching career fields, applying federal, working around a gap, or you've sent 40 applications with no callbacks, that's what this is for.
How do I pay, and do I need an account?
Card through Stripe at checkout, and no account needed. You don't have to sign up for anything to buy this. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site.
When does the five-day clock start?
When your record lands in my inbox, not when you pay. If you check out on a Friday and send your resume the following Wednesday, the clock starts Wednesday.
Do you write federal resumes and civilian resumes differently?
Completely differently. A civilian resume is one to two pages and cuts everything that isn't relevant. A federal USAJOBS resume is often four to six pages, because HR screens against specialized experience statements and anything you leave out cannot be assumed. Using a civilian resume for a GS application is one of the most common reasons qualified veterans get rated ineligible.
What if I'm not separated yet?
That's the best time to do this. Six to twelve months out means your resume exists before you need it, and you'll notice the gaps in your record while you still have time to fill them with a cert or a school.
Can you help with my VA disability claim?
No. Charging money to prepare or present a VA disability claim is restricted to VA-accredited representatives under federal law, and I'm not accredited. What I do here is career documents: resumes, federal resumes, LinkedIn, cover letters. For claims, go to an accredited VSO through your state veterans commission, which is free.
How fast can you turn it around?
Five business days standard. Rush 48-hour turnaround is $75 extra and depends on what's already in the queue that week. Email me before you check out if you need rush, so I can tell you honestly whether the week has room.
What if I don't like it?
Tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it in the revision round. If you've sent me your record and your postings and the first draft genuinely misses, I'll refund you rather than argue about it.
Not sure which one you need?
Send me your branch, your MOS, and the job title you're chasing. If the free generator will do the job, I'll tell you that instead of selling you something.
ASK ME FIRST →Scope. This is career document writing: resumes, federal resumes, LinkedIn, and cover letters. It is not VA disability claims preparation or representation, which federal law restricts to VA-accredited representatives. For claims help, contact an accredited VSO through your state veterans commission at no cost. No hiring outcome is guaranteed. What you are buying is the document and the revision round.
